Hossein Pasvar,

Founder Managing Director and President

Hossein brings 25 years of experience in design, development, test and manufacturing of Telecom, Wireless infrastructure and related products. Hossein served as Senior Manager of product development and Senior Director of Wireless System Integration at Nortel and Samsung respectively. Prior to founding Dallas Technology group he served as Vice President of research programs and project management where he managed new technology programs for the Oil & Gas and other industries by providing integrated and multidisciplinary professional consultancy services in various fields of engineering from concept formulation to completion. Hossein holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.


Earl Stromberg,

Ph.D. Technical Advisor

Dr. Stromberg has worked with or evaluated a wide range of technologies, ranging from MEMS, composites, sensor windows, canopies, extrusions, chemical vapor deposition and trace element analysis. He has developed coatings for missiles, fighter aircraft and optical sensor windows. He managed collaborative research projects that won 2 national R&D 100 invention awards for self-assembling nano coatings and were awarded 3 patents for an interconnect design to replace solder in microelectronics. He is also a published author with papers and presentations on topics including nanotechnology, composite reinforcements, optical characterization, and cluster analysis of environmental data. Dr. Stromberg earned a PhD in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Virginia after earning a M.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island and a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland. Dr. Stromberg also teaches management methods and techniques to adult Boy Scout leaders.


Alex Zekulin,

Ph.D. Technical Advisor

Dr. Zekulin has over 20 years work experience applying data analytics and data management across a diverse spectrum of problems and industries, including upstream oil and gas, healthcare, direct marketing, telecom, and consumer electronics. Recently, he has worked at several super-majors and NOCs in NA and globally BP, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, ENI, Total, and Saudi Aramco. He is a thought leader, recently finishing an assignment as the chemicals & petroleum and industrial products lead at the IBM Institute for Business Value. He specializes in Data Analytics in upstream problems. Recent experience includes overseeing resource estimates for unconventional resources (oil sands and shale gas) as well as client work on reservoir data management, real-time production optimization and the application of supercomputing to reservoir modeling and sub-surface imaging. Alex started and managed IBM’s data mining group in the mid 90’s focused on data analytics across industries. This included ground-breaking work in predictive analytics, failure analysis, and CRM. He has more than twenty years of experience successfully implementing analytic solutions. Dr. Zekulin has seven patents related to data analytical processes applied to various forms of data.


Steve Malecek

Ph.D. Technical Advisor

Dr. Malecek has multidisciplinary experience and expertise in oil and gas geoscience, international new ventures, and energy and water resource development. Oil and gas experience of over 30 years includes assignments in the US, UK , Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia in upstream exploration geophysics with Mobil/ExxonMobil, Saudi Aramco, PetroTel Consulting, and Kosmos Energy in positions as technical specialist, consultant, team leader, trainer, and mentor. New venture roles have been in seismic survey design, drilling proposals, new acreage evaluations, and bid preparation. Steve’s expertise and published research work in energy and water resource development has focused on electricity and water law reform in India, private sector participation, and decentralized water treatment technology. Steve holds a BA in Physics (Minnesota), MSc in Geophysics (British Columbia), MSc in Engineering Management (Missouri), MBA in International Business (UT-Dallas), and LLM in Energy Law and Policy, and PhD in Water Law and Policy, both from the University of Dundee, Scotland.


Tom Batz

Executive Sales & Marketing Advisor (Medical)

Tom is a highly successful sales and marketing leader in the healthcare medical device markets. He is accomplished at delivering significant annual revenue growth for start-ups and global companies alike in the medical and dental markets. Most recently he led the double digit, year over year annual growth success for the NOMAD hand-held x-ray system that revolutionized intra oral radiography in the dental community. Prior to that he was a key leader for the dental group and health imaging group within Eastman Kodak Company. Among his many roles Tom led the national account management business and he was responsible for the executive level relationships with Mayo Clinic that delivered significant annual business growth. Tom is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and has also earned management program diplomas from Penn State University, and Columbia University for financial management. Tom resides in the Fort Worth, TX area.
